Mid-March Fulfillment Update
about 4 years ago – Sun, Mar 15, 2020 at 11:00:31 PM

Hi everyone!

We hope you're staying safe out there. For the time being, normal operations press on here at Wyrmwood, so read on for the latest info.

Fulfillment & Accessory Update

We're happy to report that we're still on track for this month's shipment, with more orders from the March fulfillment tier shipping daily. We don't anticipate a problem hitting the target and getting everything out over the remainder of the month, though we may have to ship some orders without some accessories, as we've mentioned in the past couple of updates, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its continuing impact to supply chains around the world.

If you're affected by this, we won't hold up your entire order - we'll ship your pledge items - Hero Vaults - then follow up as soon as possible with your add-on accessories. We're going to do what we can to minimize the impact, but it's likely to affect at least some orders, beginning towards the end of March fulfillment and into April. We'll have more concrete information in the next update, once we've wrapped up everything we can in March. We apologize for the uncertainty, but don't worry - we're on top of things and will make sure you all get your items, even if a bit late!

End of February Fulfillment Update
about 4 years ago – Mon, Mar 02, 2020 at 12:07:06 AM

Hello everybody!

Well, February has wrapped up, and how did we do? Well, nearly all orders from the month are out! We got a late start fulfilling this month, due to an unexpected delay with the packaging, but once it came through, we hit the ground running and made up for lost time.

Now, there are a few exceptions - but those seem limited to a handful of surveys that were not fully completed in time, and that we got a late start on as a result. But barring those, we shipped the last of the February orders out on Friday, the 28th, so they may yet take a few days to arrive (or longer, for our international orders). If you don't have them by the end of this coming week, definitely let us know and we'll look into the situation and find out what's going on.

We're well into production for March, so shipping will continue beginning this coming week, and we anticipate no issues shipping out all March orders within the coming weeks.

One quick note: we don't have any recent photos for this update, unfortunately, so it'll be a little visually plain. With two conventions this weekend, the week was a bit hectic and our media resources were stretched a little thin. We'll have a new batch of pictures in the next update!

Accessory Status

In our last update, we mentioned some issues with suppliers due to the (now global) issues related to the Coronavirus impacting shipping and production. We were able to avoid any impact to February, and it looks like March should *mostly* be all set.

Most of our suppliers are back in operation, but we are very low on our resin dice sets, and we may not see a re-supply of these for 30-40 days. At this time, however, that's the only item we're facing that kind of delay on. Everything else we're beginning to get restocked.

If your March order is complete save for missing accessories (the aforementioned dice), we are not planning to hold up fulfillment if we do not expect to have them in within a week or so. As a result, we may need to ship some accessories after the fact when they arrive. If your order is affected by this, we will notify you, so please hold off on asking if your order will be complete or not until at least the mid-month fulfillment update, when we'll have a better view of how things will shake out. Again, though, we expect impact to fulfillment to be pretty mild.

Mid-February Fulfillment Update
about 4 years ago – Sun, Feb 16, 2020 at 02:22:15 AM

Hello everybody!

February is upon us, and fulfillment has begun. We're facing some headwinds, mostly owing to our final product boxes arriving a bit late. As a result, we're going to be funneling a small amount of extra labor to shipping in the next couple weeks, and we expect we can catch up and complete all of February's orders on time. Production, however, is proceeding well, and we're in a good place in terms of inventory, as evidenced by the below photos, which we hope you'll enjoy. :)

Unfortunately, though, we may run into some issues with accessories (to be clear, we solely refer to dice, meeples, etc., and not Hero Vaults themselves). We're working to avoid it as best we can, but we are facing supplier setbacks that we may not be able to work around, at least in the short term.

We'll know more in the coming weeks the scope of the problem, and hopefully we'll be able to work around it, but, as I'm sure many of you are aware, global supply chains are being heavily impacted by the Coronavirus outbreak, and unfortunately a number of our accessories fall into this category. When we know the scope of the issue, we'll determine a course of action, which may have to include shipping out orders without the aforementioned accessories and filling those once we're able to restock. Again, for now we're pushing ahead and this should not impact many February orders, if any. We'll give more details in the next update, so please hold off on asking about specific orders yet, if you'd be so kind.

Thanks for your understanding, and we look forward to completing fulfillment! And thank you, as always, for your support.

Fulfillment is About to Begin!
about 4 years ago – Sat, Feb 01, 2020 at 11:58:40 PM

Backers! Are you ready for your Hero Vaults? Because we're finally ready to start shipping them to you!

February is upon us at last, and that means fulfillment is beginning! We'll be shipping out the first month's orders starting this coming week, and it won't stop until you've all received your orders.

So how are we looking for fulfillment, you ask? Great! We've been refining our fulfillment management over the past few months, and have worked out a very solid system that keeps track of everything in a way that gives us plenty of time to address issues, and ensures we can get all the orders filled each month, with enough time left over to deal with any problems that crop up. This should be a smooth fulfillment, however, and we don't anticipate any issues.

Communication & Updates

Moving forward, we're going to be keeping a rather strict rule for all active Kickstarter campaigns, which will be to send an update on the 1st and 15th of each month, starting today.

Most of these will be brief check-ins to let you know whether things are or are not on track, share some photos of work in progress, and just let you know we're all still here.

On inactive projects - ones that have concluded fulfillment, or where it hasn't yet begun - we'll issue updates on just the 1st of the month, as there will naturally be less to discuss, and that information will be less urgent, since shipment isn't ongoing.

Well, that about covers things for now - we look forward to getting all of you your Hero Vaults soon, and we'll keep you updated should anything come up. There was one last policy change, however, that some of you may not be aware of: from this point forward, any order that misses the estimated shipping deadline will come with a $25 Gyft Certificate to WyrmwoodGaming.com, barring anything like a typo in the original date or the like. In short, if we planned it out and promised it, we'll deliver it... or you'll get a bonus for us breaking our word.

Thanks for your support, as always, and we look forward to shipping all of your rewards!

BackerKit Surveys are GOING OUT NOW! Important Dates Inside
over 4 years ago – Mon, Oct 21, 2019 at 10:52:05 PM

Hello Everyone!

A big thank you to the segment of backers that got the initial surveys and filled them out promptly.  we were able to catch a few minor errors and points of confusion and address them prior to the big send-out - which is happening right now!  You should be receiving an invitation email very soon.

BackerKit

The survey is being sent out today, October 21st, and will remain open for approximately one month.

On Friday, November 22nd, we will lock down your orders to generate numbers for fulfillment.  Payment methods on file will be charged on Monday, November 25th.

What does this mean?  After the 22nd, the only changes you'll be able to make on your survey will be to your address.  Your order will be effectively final.  We're doing this so we can collect all the data to allow us to source materials and line up production resources properly, well ahead of time.

If you add items to your order and find you have an outstanding balance due, BackerKit will prompt you to enter payment information.  This is only for those of you who were not 100% covered by your Kickstarter pledge, or Pre-Orders that have come in since the end of the campaign.  You can expect these methods to be charged on November 25th, so please plan accordingly.

Summary:

  • Follow the link in the BackerKit invitation email you'll receive today, October 21st.
  • Confirm or change your reward tier.
  • Answer all applicable survey questions.
  • Select desired items in the "add-ons" section. Note: Gaia backers will only have to select items BEYOND the Gaia Vault included with their pledge. All other backers will need to select ALL their items.
  • Verify total and payment details, add funds if necessary, and confirm.
  • Done!
  • You are free to return to edit or adjust your order until November 22nd, at which time your order will be locked down.
  • All outstanding balances will be processed and collected on November 25th.  After that date, pre-orders will be charged on a weekly basis.

Final RTD Odds

Given that there were some stretch goal woods not unlocked in the campaign, many of you wondered where that left our approximate odds - we've updated the graphic from the campaign to reflect the actual, end-of-campaign line-up:

The Gaia Edition, as a reminder, will include 5 Hero Vaults in TOTAL, to be distributed among the entirety of RTD orders.  As a result, the odds are unknown at this time, since we won't have full survey data until lockdown in November.

Halloween Kickstarter: New Katalox Art Unlocked

As you're aware if you saw our last update, our latest project, a limited edition run of Master Vaults for Halloween, is live now.  Of interest to those of you that are fans of our Maker of Monsters tier, we recently unlocked the Katalox, the Corrupted art from the Hero Vault 2.0 campaign:

If you haven't checked it out yet, take a look - it all ends Halloween at midnight Eastern, so don't delay!

Ready, Set... Surveys!

Thanks for your support, and be on the lookout for your Hero Vault 2.0 survey invitations - they should be in your inbox any minute!
